Gefen Ships 330-Foot USB 2.0 Extender

Gefen has released an extender GTB-USB2.0-4LR that expands the range of USB 2.0-based cameras, keyboards, scanners, printers, DVD burners, external hard drives, and mice. The new USB 2.0 Long Range 4-Port Extender accommodates up to four devices and enables their use at distances of up to 330 feet away from the nearest computer.

The extender is a kit that includes a sender unit and a receiver with two locking power cables.  The sender unit connects to a computer through a USB 2.0 cable, while the receiver connects to accessories and control apparatuses using multiple USB 2.0 cable connections.  The sender and receiver are designed to network over CAT-5 cable.
